* What is JACT?

Founded on the principle of "Play with Purpose," JACT was created to provide a free gaming tool that rewards gamers for simply doing what they already do…playing games. You play your favorite games and JACT’s software client, Eamonn, rewards you with “BUX” for active game play. These “BUX” accumulate in your account and can be redeemed for prizes from the JACT Mall. Think of it as a frequent flyer rewards program but for gamers.

* How do I join JACT?

Joining JACT requires an invite code. If you don’t have an invite code you can request one here or go to the “DOWNLOAD” page and click on “Request Invite”. If you already have an invite code, register here.

Once registered, download Eamonn (JACT’s free software agent) and you’re good to go. Simply open Eamonn in the background while you play your favorite games and it will automatically credit your account for active gameplay.

* How do I get an invite code?

To get an invite code, click here or go to the “DOWNLOAD” page and click on “Request Invite”. Fill out the form provided and click "Submit" and an invite code will be sent to the email address you provide.

* Why do I need an invite code?

At this time, JACT is in an exclusive beta testing stage and we want to limit the JACT community specifically to gamers who are excited about what we have to offer and can make suggestions to help us improve our product.

* What is Eamonn?

Eamonn is JACT's free software client that credits gamers with “BUX” for active gameplay. Eamonn means “protector of wealth” and credits your account with your “hard-earned” BUX that can later be redeemed in the JACT Mall for prizes. Eamonn is a clean install with absolutely no spyware, adware, or malware.

* How do I pronounce Eamonn?

* JACT is free?...What’s the catch?

We know. We know. Sounds to good to be true right? Wrong! Imagine if you lived in a world where you were rewarded for playing PC games. You do! JACT is supported by leading sponsors in and around the gaming industry, allowing us to offer this revolutionary service without asking for a penny out of your pocket.

JACT’s software is free. The prizes in the Mall are free. Even the shipping is free! All you have to do is play your favorite games, earn BUX and redeem them for prizes you want from the JACT Mall . On a more serious note, one thing needs to be mentioned and we want to make it very clear; we DO NOT and WILL NEVER sell, exchange, or share any personal user information with anyone. Remember, we're gamers too, and we created JACT with the gamer in mind. If you need further clarification on how we handle user information, read our Privacy Policy and User Agreement .

* How can I make suggestions for improvements or enhancements to JACT?

JACT could not and would not exist without the feedback and support of every gamer in our beta community. We want you to have the best experience possible and welcome all comments, ideas and suggestions. Do you have any ideas to help improve JACT? We'd love to hear it! * Can I share an account with someone else?

No. Every person must have their own JACT account. Eamonn only supports rewarding credits for one user account per machine at any given time. Lastly, JACT BUX can not be transferred between accounts.

* How do I register as a JACT user?

Since JACT is in beta, you need an invite code to join. If you have an unused invite code, go to the register page to use your invite or you can click on “Register” in the Log On box in the top left of every page. If you need an invite, request one here or click the “DOWNLOAD” button on the top right of every page and then click “Request Invite”.

After you get an invite code and create an account, you have to set up your game list and download and install Eamonn, JACT’s gamer reward software.

* How long does it take to get an invite code?

Invite codes are usually sent out within a day but often within a few hours if requested during normal business hours. If you think you should have received one already, check your junk mail folder as some email programs might filter out the invite email.

* I requested an invite code but haven’t received it. What’s up?

Most invite code requests are answered within 24 hours, but if you’ve waited and haven’t received one, check your junk mail folder, as some email programs may filter the invite email.

* I do not have a US zip code. Can I still sign up if I live in a different country?

JACT does not currently support international membership. We may consider implementing a pay-for-shipping or digital downloading option as an intermediate step toward international expansion; however, our current focus is to build a robust US platform. Once our business within the United States is well established, we will start the process of bringing JACT to international gamers. Any expansion updates will be announced on the JACT forums (JACT International Gamer Policy), so be sure to check back often! We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience as JACT grows and improves.

* How do I get invite codes to send to my friends?

JACT users who successfully register and earn 1,000 JACT BUX will be rewarded invites to send to their friends from their account. Additional invites will continue to accrue as you earn more BUX. The more you Play with Purpose...the more invites you will be in charge of!

* Can I have more than one User Name on JACT?

No. Each JACT invite is only good for one user registration but since JACT’s software, Eamonn, is free and easy to download you can use your same account on any computer you game on.

* Can I change my User Name?

Your User Name can’t be changed once your account is created so choose wisely!

* Can I change my password?

Yes. You can change your password anytime by clicking on “Modify Profile” under “My Account”.

* What if I forget my password?

If you forget your password, click here to recover it or click on “Recover Password” in the Log On section in the top left of the page.

* How can I update my email address and other information?

You can update all your account information (contact, forum, preferences, etc) by logging in and clicking on “Modify Profile” under the “My Account” section on the left of the page. Once you’ve made your changes click "Submit" to save them.

* How do I install Eamonn?

Click on the blue “DOWNLOAD” link in the top right of the page then click the “Download” button. Once Eamonn downloads, open the file and follow the setup wizard.

* What are the system requirements for Eamonn?

- PC with Pentium or AMD processor running 2000/XP/Vista
- 15 MB RAM
- 50MB available hard disk space
- Screen resolution of 800 x 600 at 256 colors (1024 x 768 at 16 bit color or higher recommended)
- IE 5.x or higher, Mozilla 1.x or higher
- DirectX 8.x or higher
- Available Internet connection (persistent broadband connection not required)

* Does running Eamonn affect my gaming?

No. Eamonn was designed by gamers who realize that anything that hinders your gaming performance or changes your gaming experience at all is not worth installing. Careful optimization steps have been taken to ensure Eamonn runs with very minimal memory and CPU usage.

* What exactly does Eamonn install on my machine? Can I be assured when I remove it, everything will be gone?

Eamonn installs one small folder of files onto your machine. There is no bundled software. Eamonn is 100% free of any adware, spyware of malware. Uninstalling Eamonn leaves absolutely nothing on your machine.

* Can I install Eamonn on multiple PC's?

Yes, Eamonn is free and easy to download and can be installed on any machine you like. However, you may only accumulate credits for one user account per machine at any given time. If Eamonn is logged on to one machine and you attempt to log on from a different machine, the remote Eamonn session will be terminated to activate the new session. Regardless of what machine you play on, all credits earned will be stored and rewarded to your account accurately and securely.

* Does Eamonn require any special firewall settings?

No. The only requirement for Eamonn is at least an intermittent outbound internet connection to allow Eamonn to reward your accumulated credits to your JACT account. If you have software running that blocks even standard outbound ports, you will need to allow that traffic to go through.

* How do I get updates to Eamonn?

When there is an update available for Eamonn, it will prompt you to upgrade to the latest version during sign-in. By default, the installation process will remove your previous copy of Eamonn. If you wish to upgrade to the latest version before your current version expires, you can always download Eamonn in the “DOWNLOAD” section of the site.

* Is Eamonn compatible with Macintosh or Linux?

No, we do not currently support either of these operating systems. Sorry!

* Will Eamonn run on x64 bit?

Eamonn supports both 32 bit and 64 bit Windows machines. The Eamonn installer will select the correct version during setup.

* What does Eamonn mean?

Eamonn means "protector of wealth," so you can rest assured that all your "hard-earned" BUX will be safely rewarded to your JACT account.

* How do I update my game list?

You can update your game list at any time by going to the Community page and clicking on the Supported Games link on the left side of the page. There you need to log on and check the boxes next to the games you want to be rewarded for playing. When you are done click “Save Your Game List”. The next time you log in to Eamonn, it will retrieve your new game list and you will be ready to Play with Purpose!

* What games does JACT currently support?

JACT currently supports 300+ games and is always working diligently to support the latest and greatest PC games. With more games being added all the time, the list continues to grow! Check out the Supported Games page to see the current list. Don’t see a game you like? Post a request to have the game added in our Game Request forum .

* Can I make suggestions for new games that I want JACT to support?

Of course! You can post your suggestions for games you would like to see supported in Game Request forum . Requests with the most interest will receive the highest priority and attention. Remember we are here for you, so we won’t know what you want until you say something!

* Why can I only have 10 games on my game list at a time?

In order to ensure Eamonn uses minimal system resources and does not affect your game play, we keep the number of games on the game list to a small number.

* How long does it take for me to receive my prize?

Prizes will be sent out within 2-4 weeks via UPS or USPS.

* How much is shipping?

Shipping is free. JACT pays for shipping as well as packaging to make sure your prize gets to you safely. What a deal! Remember, JACT can currently only ship to the continental US, Hawaii and Alaska.

* What carrier is used for shipping?

We use USPS or UPS Ground for all prize shipment.

* Why can I not have a prize shipped to a post office box? Why do I need to provide a physical shipping address?

UPS cannot deliver to PO Boxes, so that is why we need to have a physical address for you.

* Can I have a prize shipped outside the United States?

No. JACT is currently only available to people residing within the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii. However, if you reside outside of the U.S., continue to earn your BUX as you never know when JACT might be coming to a neighborhood near you!

* What if the prize is broken or defective?

JACT does not take responsibility for broken or defective prizes. In the event of a broken or defective item, please take time to examine the nature of the damage. If 1) it looks like shipping damage, please file a claim with UPS or the USPS. If 2) it looks like a manufacturers defect, please file a complaint with the manufacturer.

* Are there any sales taxes?

No, JACT even takes care of the tax for you. Prizes are 100% FREE OF CHARGE!

* Can I transfer my BUX to another user?

No. JACT BUX are non-transferrable. BUX earned for one account remain in that account until they are redeemed for a cool prize.

* Why do prices in the mall change?

Prices in the Mall change just like prices change in real life. Browsing the Mall often may help you snag a good deal one day that may not be there the next. Browse often and you just might get to be the one to brag to your friends about what a great deal you found in the Mall!

* What if Jact's Mall does not have anything I want?

Remember our motto is "Play with Purpose." The "Purpose" for you is rewarding yourself for all your gaming with a cool prize from the Mall. If there is nothing in the Mall you like then there would be no real "Purpose" for you. At JACT, we are always open to suggestions. If there is something you would like to see in the Mall, please let us know by posting in the Mall Product Requests forum and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

* Can I buy more than one ticket from the same raffle?

Of course! As long as you have enough BUX, you can buy as many tickets to as many raffles as you want. Also, raffle tickets are buy 5 and get 1 free.

* Why can’t I download my rewards digitally? Can you send me my WoW card code by e-mail?

JACT is aware of that some of our Mall rewards could be distributed digitally. However, at this time, JACT is unable to support digital downloading.
